QUARTERLY HIGHLIGHTS

‒  The total retail supply in Bangkok increased to nearly 8.0 million square meters, or 1.1% Y-o-Y.

‒  Thailand reclassified COVID-19 as ‘a communicable disease under surveillance’ from 1 October 2022.

‒  Thailand’s consumer confidence index (CCI) increased to an eight-month high of 44.6 in September 2022 from 43.7 a month earlier, lifted by improved sentiment (CCI increased 3.2 points or a 7.7% Y-o-Y increase).

‒  The retail sales index as of August 2022 (latest available data) was at 283.8, increasing 54.4 points or a 23.7% Y-o-Y increase.

‒  There was over 1.5 million square meters of retail space either being planned or under construction.
